Depression Management
Depression is another very common experience that people have.
I support individuals and families who are experiencing this in their lives through normalizing its existence. There is a lot of stigma and shame around depression while living in a very forward focused, productive focused society. So realizing that depression happens is essential. Next step is to realize that depression (that is not purely a chemical imbalance), serves a function- we are being forced to pay attention to something. This is where I come in to provide support. I assist in exploring with you the role depression is playing in your life, as well as exploring what you are needing to pay attention to to heal. This can be a hazy confusing process, so receiving support is essential to make it to the other side. Combining Integrative Talk Therapy with Neurofeedback is an extremely effective way to make this happen.
The more we accept our negative feelings the easier we can see through the fog and begin to see or address what it is that we need to heal and how it is we can move forward.
