Anxiety Management
Anxiety is one of the most common symptoms for people to experience.
I offer techniques to support people who experience generalized or consistent low levels of anxiety as well as assistance in teaching how to manage anxiety/ panic attacks. Often times I focus on increasing skill sets outside of a crisis state, so that those skills are more readily accessible when and if a crisis state of anxiety presents itself. It is also important for individuals to realize the signals within themselves that indicate the increase of anxiety. The sooner one can see those signals the sooner they can respond to support themselves, the less intense the episode may be.
When looking at anxiety in someones life, I always consider sleep health, dietary habits, physical health, relationship and job satisfaction and environments. These are all areas where we may or may not have some control as to how to change or adapt things that may also result in decreasing the anxiety we experience in our lives.
When we don’t have control over changing something, receiving support around how to live with that is helpful in decreasing fear and stress.
